​The Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) is a constitutional body established on May 30, 1988, following Goa's attainment of statehood in 1987. It was created under Article 315 of the Constitution of India to oversee recruitment and service matters for the state civil services. Prior to its establishment, these responsibilities were managed by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) .​
